The purpose of this function is to create copies of all or select existing price lists with the addition of a new effective date. It is important to note that this will only make copies of price lists with a currently active effective date. Optionally, you can also use this function to set an effective date to change all the prices in multiple price lists by a certain percentage at once. Using this function will save you time by avoiding the many steps required to add another effective date to multiple price lists.
